Mr Nicholson ran Book Week in the library for us. She had so many competitions for us. We had a 'Where's Wally and friends Hunt'. Wally and his friends were hidden all through the library in among the books and we had to go around and find them. There were famous book characters to locate and if you wrote the author down you could win a bookmark. We were able to write our favourite book titles on a book spine and add it to our school's favourite bookshelf. Mrs Nicholson had words from a classic book hidden in a jar and we had to read and work out what book it might be. Lots of teachers came in and read to us at lunchtime. We had a colouring in competition to complete and bookmarks to make. It was such a busy time in the library. Mrs Nicholson also left the whiteboard markers out so we could write down what bought us to the library and why we wanted to be there. Take a look . . .
