Pou Whenua Poles

We completed our Pou Whenua poles (poles denoting a place of significance) this week and are thrilled with our efforts. We designed our heads to show off our places of origin and the cultures we associate with. As you can see they are made from recycled milk bottles which we painted. They now reside outside our classroom and our the front of the library.
