National Scout's Scarf Day

Today is National Scout's Scarf Day.  All the Kea, Cubs and Scouts will be wearing their uniform with pride.  We have children in the Kea's and the Cubs in our class.  Look how great the uniform looks.

Our Very Own PUBLISHED ILLUSTRATORS

Yes you heard it correctly, we have our very own published illustrators in Room 14 and Room 15.
Some time ago we all submited illustrations for David Slack's book Bullrush.  Some of our illustrations were so good they were included in the book.   Last night we went to the book launch and today we did our own private signing, signing the pages with our illustrations.
We have also been interviewed and photographed by the North Shore Times.  We are STARS!

Incredible Science Day

Last term we were lucky to have the Auckland University come and share some wonderful science experiments with us. While we were experimenting a film crew recorded part of the day in the hall. The whole school was involved in the 'Incredible Science Day' but only a few of us feature on the video. See who you can spot that you know.
